I'm totally amazed at how much I love my Greencine. I just got Gentleman's Agreement and Buffy (season 5, disk 4) in the mail.
(Netflix, by the way, has some kind of partnership with Walmart. Greencine is based here in SF, and the turnaround is almost immediate. I recommend.)
I'm discovering, just now, that ebay is a nifty thing, too. I'm on a quest for the perfect pair of red gloves (to match my 50's prom dress) and found a batch of vintage cotten white gloves that I'll be able to dye. I am consumer whore.

To be fair, my understanding is that Wal-Mart started a competing service; soon realized that they weren't as good, and Netflix was going to win the marketplace battle; and gave up the fight and offered all their customers to Netflix in exchange for a percentage of that income. I suppose you can argue that Netflix should have said no, but as deals with the devil go, this one's more innocent than most.
